Manor on the Bay is the ideal venue for a small private wedding. We cater for groups up to 28 people for a sit-down meal and up to 60 for a cocktail party. The garden and patio can accommodate about 50 people seated. Please note that this option can be a risk, since we do not have a plan B in case of bad weather. We advise all potential customers to come and have a look at our facility to make sure we meet your requirements. Please note that we do not host dance parties.

Manor on the Bay offers a peaceful, tranquil venue for an intimate special wedding. The garden lends itself to the ideal settings for beautiful pictures. The Manor is the ideal venue for the bride-to-be and a friend or mother to rest and spoil herself the night before her big day.

Costs:
  • R250 for taking pictures in the big palm garden. This cost only applies when you do not make use of any of our other facilities, in other words, just come in for 1 - 3 hours and take pictures.
  • R990 Venue hire for a function
  • Different Menu's from R 180 - R 250 per head
  • R20 per bottle corkage fee ( 750ml )
  • Flowers, photographer, make-up artist and hair stylist can be arranged.
  • Live music i.e. violin, saxophone, harp etc. can also be arranged.
Special accommodation rates for wedding groups:
The Manor has 12 spacious en-suite bedrooms, 8 with stunning sea-views and 4 in the garden court by the pool.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES AND RATES

Situated at the foot of the Steenbras Mountain and overlooking the blue waters of False Bay, Manor on the Bay offers a tranquil, yet professional conference venue. The opportunity is given to be inspired, creative and productive.

A mere 40 minutes drive from Cape Town, Manor on the Bay offers clients from the Mother City economic travelling, with an inspiring and refreshing day away from the city in return.

Our Facilities
Manor on the Bay's air-conditioned conference venue ( 8 x 4.3 m ) ( Ceiling height of 3.1m ) can accommodate up to 18 people, seated in Board Room Style, and 18 people in Cinema Style.
We are able to accommodate two groups in breakaway sessions. More groups can be accommodated if the weather permits, since our gardens offer an ideal place to brainstorm creative ideas.

Additional conference equipment can be hired on request at an extra cost.

A network agreement with a neighbouring guest house ensures accommodation for more delegates in 10 additional double rooms.

  • Half day R210 per delegate
  • Snacks: Muffins are served with coffee and tea
  • Lunch: A light two course lunch selected from a variety of choices on our menu (Chicken Roulades, Roast Port etc Greek Salad and Fresh Rolls)
  • Dessert (Baked vanilla cheesecake, Chocolate Fudge Nut Pie etc)
  • R40 per person extra for a three course meal.


Executive Package
  • Full day: R340 per delegate
  • Half day: R260 per delegate
  • Snacks: Home baked sweet and savoury snacks are served with mid-morning and mid-afternoon coffee and tea breaks. Coffee and tea on arrival are served with freshly baked croissants.
  • Lunch: A two course lunch is served with different menus to choose from (available on request). Standard Executive Two Course Lunch
