Dear Guests and Friends
October really is the most beautiful month!
The lovely spring aromas and the promise of summer in every warmer day has added to my new found enthusiasm to get Manor on the Bay right and ready for the promising summer and tourism season ahead.
Although this is all very exciting, I must confess that Manor on the Bay has not been my primary focus lately… Yes, that was a huge public and maybe frowned upon statement. Not your usual hyped up marketing jargon.
I hope you’ll excuse me for spending all of the last 4 months with our gorgeous and amazing little daughter – and loving it! The all consuming mammoth task of playing mommy started when Kirsten was born on Monday 4 June. Wow, what a blessing and incredible journey it’s been since. She’s four months old already and we still spend hours literally just looking at her and appreciating the miracle of Life. Thank you Jesus.
Every new goal are being celebrated, photographed, videographed, discussed and documented by two typical first time parents. I wouldn’t bore you with the detail. I hope the pictures will speak for themselves.
Right, back to business.
Maryna Scholtz started as Manager at the Manor in February and really proved to be a valuable asset to the team, especially while I took some time off.
My loyal, friendly, energetic right hand, Katriena, is still with us.
With beautiful new uniforms and a few more tricks, the team is ready to assist, serve and help our loyal regular guests and the numerous new guests who have already booked for the 2007 – 2008 season.
Our beauty salon, PURE@Manor, went into hibernation for a few months, only to open up bigger and better. With the new lay-out and two treatment rooms, two therapists will be available to treat and spoil you with any of the added treatments to their already extensive menu.
We look forward to welcoming you to Manor on the Bay Guesthouse – on the beach and in the heart of tranquil Gordon’s Bay.
This 1862 Manor house has proven to be a true hide away and gem to many.
Manor on the Bay, where you want to stay!
Warm and kind Regards
Hanel van Reenen
OWNER

From our visitors book:
We’ll be back…again!
Like home away from home, thank you.
We appreciate the attention to detail.
We left the best for last.
Only one regret – it was far too short.
