ERINVALE GOLF CLUB
20 min drive from Manor on the Bay
Erinvale Golf Club launched in 1995 and ranked amongst the top courses in South Africa. The Gary Player designed course, a true gem in the Western Cape, known for its beautifully manicured green lawns, stunning views on the Hottentot Holland mountains, and blue dams. This championship course boasts some of the country’s most challenging and spectacular holes. The course has two distinctly different nine holes to challenge the enthusiastic golfer. On the 15th hole you crest the hill and enjoy a spectacular view of Gordon’s Bay.
Seventeen07offers an intimate dining experience with a Table d’hôte Menu. Only fresh and seasonal produce from the fertile surrounding farmlands used.

STELLENBOSCH GOLF CLUB

Stellenbosch Golf Club is one of the oldest clubs in South Africa, which celebrated its centenary in 2004. This magnificent golf course has hosted some of South Africa’s most prestigious golf tournaments, including the 1999 South African Open and 5 South African Masters tournaments.
Situated at the foot of the majestic Helderberg mountains on the outskirts of Stellenbosch, Stellenbosch Golf Club offers golfers an immaculate golf course, complemented by a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
The course occupies fairly flat terrain with only a few gentle changes in elevation and water coming into play at only 4 holes: 2, 5, 12 and 18. Expect a tough start to a round here as the opening quartet of par fours all measure in excess of 400 yards from the back trees. A really strong hole on the front nine is par five 8th, which locals call “Snakes and Grapes”. We let you discover the reasons!

DE ZALZE WINELANDS GOLF ESTATE
45 min drive from Manor on the Bay
The name De Zalze isderived from the three adjoining wine farms: De Vleie, Klein Zalze, and Groot Zalze farms.
De Zalze Golf Club was designed by renowned architecture Peter Matkovich and opened its gate for business in the year 2000. It offers majestic views to the mountains and the Cape Winelands and is the perfect test for all golfers. The course has an excellent mix of long and short parkland holes moving up and down the undulated valley, as well as the Oak tree lined Blaauwklippen river which winds its way through the Golf Estate and comes into play at various intervals.
The course has a memorable layout with many challenges, especially the second nine. The short par-four 12th is played from an island tee over a large stretch of water to a green that can be driven if you’re brave enough to carry the water. The par five with two fairways is another interesting hole set amongst the citrus trees.
To top it all De Zalze is the first golf course in the world to be Fair Trade certified.

ARABELLA GOLF COURSE
45 min drive from Manor on the Bay
Located near Hermanus, Arabella Golf Course is a 72 par world-class championship course that was built to be played and designed to be seen. It overlooks the Kogelberg Nature Reserve, a mass of over 1,200 species of wild flowers and fynbos. The sweeping grandeur of the mountains and lagoon backdrop, complements this 18-hole championship course. Peter Matkovich was the designer – again!
It is set dramatically on the edge of Bot River Lagoon. Arabella Country Club provides both a wonderful golf challenge and an eye-catching landscape. This wetland is the home of waterfowl, so keep you eyes peeled for the Blue Crane… this beautiful bird is even the Arabella Club emblem.

DEVONVALE GOLF ESTATE

Devonvale Golf & Wine Estate is a world class championship golf course and working wine farm located just 5 minutes outside Stellenbosch, surrounded by rolling vineyards and majestic mountains. You will find a true jewel of the Bottelary Valley - right in the heart of the Cape Winelands.
Devonvale Golf Course is a challenging 18-hole championship course with spectacular views that stretch all the way to Cape Town. The original layout, designed by Ken Elkin, who designed many of the Capes better known courses, has seen several improvements of late. The introduction of indigenous plants and the removal of alien trees have not only beautified the environment, but have created panoramic vistas of the surrounding vineyards and mountains. Playing here early “before the field” must rate as the most peaceful golfing experience possible, which residents will have on their doorsteps.
An important aspect of Devonvale’s existence is the hosting of tournaments. The estate has seen the hosting of the SA Ladies Open, Sunshine Tour, Provincial Opens, Interprovincial tournaments, Ernie Els foundations, SA Open Qualifying rounds, Interschools and Senior Opens.

PEARL VALLEY GOLF ESTATE

As the name implies, the Pearl Valley Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course truly bears the signature of the world’s preeminent golf course designer. The 500 acre Pearl Valley Golf Estate is surrounded by the Simonsberg and Drakenstein Mountains. And bordered by vineyards with the Berg River acting as a water hazard through the course. The combination of the intense colours of the greens and fairways, together with the brilliant white river sand lining the bunkers was carefully planned, making Pearl Valley one of the most spectacular golf courses in South Africa. This world-class course awarded the Five Star Experience Award by Complete Golfer for six consecutive years. “One of the most visually pleasing golf courses imaginable”.
Alongside the golf, various lifestyle amenities are offered such as a clubhouse with a restaurant and children’s play area, swimming pool, golf shop, property office, gym and pétanque courts. Additional recreational facilities include an equestrian centre, tennis courts, cricket nets and cycling trails.
Pearl Valley Golf Estate is one of Jack Nicklaus’s most visually pleasing golf courses.
